Ματθαιοςειοπατηρτωντεσσαρων

Proceeding out into the front hall of the sanctuary to greet the Pastor, my custom always at the conclusion of each worship service, I extend my hand to thank him for the Word and message of the Lord`s day morn… also too, I wish him a happy and blessed Father`s day.

“…and a very special Father`s day to you, brother,” he responds, with a beaming face and full embrace.

Is it so obvious? Does my countenance so easily betray my thoughts, or is it that my thoughts wear heavily upon my countenance?

Even in the midst of task and endeavor, I am inclined towards heavy contemplation on the burgeoning life within my beloved`s womb… one that shall be our fourth living child. On this day, of all days, it is no less so.
